WHAT HAS CHANGED?
These updates have been made in response to feedback from the Urban Design and Planning Officer.
01 An even greater reduction in overlooking
We were already proposing to remove most of the windows facing Hammelton Road; only two remain. They serve the stairwells only and will be obscured for privacy.
02 Better fit with the surrounding area
We have changed the appearance of the buildings, using more brickwork, so they blend better with the local character.
03 Set back the building line
The buildings along College Road and Farwig Lane have been set further back from the pavement for a more spacious and attractive streetscape
04 Safer streets
We have removed four crossing points to help improve road safety for everyone.
05 More greenery
Enhanced landscaping, which will provide additional planting and greenery and help screen the site from neighbouring properties.
